Peaceful, rural 10-acre site with lodges in grounds of original Victorian-era house bordering National Park. ‘Woodland Lodges’ each configured on two floors with south-facing, secluded balconies. At ground level are two bedrooms (double and twin and one lodge has bunk beds in place of one of the twin beds; modern bathroom fitted with bath and electric power-shower. On the first floor is a light and spacious open-plan living area with kitchen (fully equipped for self-catering), dining and living area with flat-screen television/DVD player and doors onto balcony which has table and chairs for alfresco dining. The lodges have a designated parking space at the front and there is additional parking for extra vehicles or trailers close by. Behind the lodges is a field (great for exercising dogs)and a children’s play area.
We also have an "Orchard Lodge" available on the site - this is a different type of lodge. It sleeps 6 in a double bed on a mezzanine level, a bunk bedded room at ground floor level and double sofa bed in open-plan living area with kitchenette. Modern bathroom with shower, wash basin and toilet. Patio area outside with table and chairs. The Orchard Lodges are situated in groups of 4 each facing in a different direction and this lodge is very secluded as it faces away from the paths.
Other site amenities include a licensed clubhouse – “The Wanderer’s Rest Inn” serving food (N.B. this is under separate management and opening times will vary). Our laundry will do service washes by arrangement at Reception.
The site is 5 minutes drive from the nearest beach (a mile long) at Amroth, and 15 minutes from the popular resort of Tenby with shops, restaurants, pubs and night clubs. There is easy access to the many and varied visitor attractions including theme parks, castles, cultural and sporting activities.
